Gemala Chairunnisa Puteri, SKM, M.Kesos Gemala Chairunnisa Puteri is a junior researcher at CHEPS UI since December 2014. She holds a bachelor's degree in public health and a master's degree in social welfare from Universitas Indonesia. Gemala has extensive experience in planning and evaluation studies, including the cMYP study and the HTA Indonesia Roadmap study. She collaborates closely with BPJS Health on research related to social protection issues. Her involvement encompasses various projects, such as the evaluation of the JKN referral system, piloting premium collection methods for informal sectors, assessing the impact of the Prolanis JKN Program on claims and health status, and studying health facility quality indices. Gemala has also played a pivotal role in a study examining the effectiveness of benefit program coordination and exploring alternative sources of funding for the national health insurance (JKN) program. Beyond her research endeavors, she possesses organizational skills in coordinating seminars and training sessions. Examples of her work in this domain include the Pension Seminar in collaboration with NPS South Korea and International Social Protection Studies (ISPS) with Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
