Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia (FKM UI) welcomed a delegation from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) on 14 March 2025 at the RIK UI Building to explore potential academic and research collaboration. This meeting focused on strategic partnership opportunities such as student and faculty exchange, visiting professor programs, joint research, publications, workshops, and summer courses.

Dean of FKM UI, Prof. Mondastri Korib Sudaryo, highlighted this collaboration to strengthen the ongoing partnership established through the Center for Health Economics and Policy Studies (CHEPS). FKM UI’s Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs, Dr. Asih Setiarini, also proposed the development of collaborative programs such as the Public Health Study Tour and summer courses that may attract students from LSHTM.

Representing LSHTM, Prof. Richard G. White warmly welcomed the collaboration opportunities and expressed LSHTM’s interest in exploring joint teaching and research initiatives further.
